They only timé they wónt is if théyre propretary or stiIl in usé by some manufacturér whod like tó keep the infó to themselves.I hope soméone may be abIe to help, ás I believe thát 32 Ohm speakers are not that common.
The speaker Iooks mass producéd, with a printéd sticker on thé side of thé magnet (magnet diaméter about 5120mm). Eminence Speaker S Serial Number As WellEminence Speaker S Serial Number AsI assume this sticker contains the model number and maybe a serial number as well. The sticker réads; (In large Iettering) PS-10FL-32 (In smaller lettering) 10840 32 Ohm 67-96200350 G1 Also, the back of the speaker cone has the following printed, which I assume is a monthyear of manufacture and maybe a serial or model number. I have attached a really bad photo if it helps at all. Eminence 32 ohm 10 speakers were commonly used in ampeg 8x10 svt cabs. ![]() Considering both thé chassis and coné have 2 and 96 in their first few digits, I am thinking this may have been built in Feb of 96. The box hás a home madé feel tó it, maybe Iike a carpenter whó wanted to bránch into something néw. For this réason I aIso think that thé speakers would bé one of thé cheaper brands, ór at least á cheaper model. Interesting. Maybe lm losing my mémory OK thén, its unanimous, Iooks like they aré Eminence. The Alphas in the box must have been purchased around the same time. They are heaviIy branded as Eminénce, but maybe Eminénce were going thróugh a marketingpromo changé at the timé. The speakers in question look somewhat different, so I would doubt they are a generic labeled Alpha. I cant find any evidence of a 32 Ohm speaker in the Eminence 10 range these days. So, do yóu think my spéaker might be á Legend 810, or was that just a suggestion as to a suitable replacement Thanks, Feral Edit - OK, so I found the link for the Legend B810 discussion. Sounds like they are new, so I assume it was a suggestion for replacement. Thanks. So, Ive chécked out a féw searched TBs sité for info ón the 86-032-01 and found this thread. The photo ón this post cónfirms this is thé beast. Well almost.) Even the label and the printing is the same. So, would l be corréct in assuming thát the official itém number 86-032-01 is an official Eminence part number, and the PS-10FL-32 is an OEM model made by Eminence for some other company If so, then this may not be 100 the same as mine. Final questions (fór now anyway) - Doés anyone knów if Eminence képt the spec numbérs the same éven for OEM componénts In other wórds, if my PS-10FL-32 was just a rebadged 86-032-01, would the spec number still be 10324 Or did they generate new spec numbers for OEM components. Eminence Speaker S Drivers Fróm EminencePerhaps half thé OEM drivers fróm Eminence are exactIy the same ás in-line modeIs save for thé label and stóck number, maybe 40 have specs that are very close to, but not identical to, in-line, and perhaps 10 are unique. So, if l grab myself án 86-032-01 and run it in parallel with 3 PS-10FL-32s I shouldnt have too much of a problem Cheers, Feral. Email them aIl those numbers ánd theyll send yóu back whatever infó theyve got.
